Using Vintage Maps to Decorate

Not sure why I like this but I do

Ever wonder what to do with a rusty box spring?

While traveling in Florida not only did I go to flea markets, I also got to stop in a few local vintage stores.  One of these was Annabelle's Vintage Land.  They had some really cool stuff and I snapped a few photos for inspiration,

Then I saw this ...

 

So instead of just hanging that old map on the wall - use it as wall paper, or a backing in a great cabinet or on a lamp shade - 

what other ideas can you think of?
